Members of the public register for a test drive at the Best.Drive.EVer booth. Registration consists of taking a survey, signing a waiver, and confirming a valid ID. After registration individuals may take a test drive accompanied by a dealership sales person. After the test drive individuals will complete a post-survey and receive their ticket for free tacos from Taquitos Jesus Tacos. (directly across the street from the event)

Aside from the test drives, there will be booths onsite with information on electric vehicle incentives and rebates. As well as information on air quality and air quality improvement incentives. For example:    The East Kern Air Pollution Control District provides grants to improve air quality.  This includes incentives for the purchase of electric cars. $2,000 for Plug-in Zero Emission Vehicle and $3,000 for a Zero Emission Vehicle. 

However, you must have primary residence in the District to receive a voucher. They also offer a wood smoke reduction program which offers up to $4,000 towards the purchase and installation of a qualifying devise to replace wood burning stoves and fireplaces.
